Explore Cheswardine Hall

Welcome to Cheswardine Hall, our family owned and run nursing and residential home for the elderly.

My family has proudly specialised in the provision of care for the elderly since opening the doors to Cheswardine Hall as a care home in the summer of 1985. Today, with the support of our excellent team we continue to run Cheswardine Hall as a family, offering care of the highest standards within luxurious; comfortable and homely surroundings.

Life at Cheswardine

Describing life at Cheswardine Hall is a difficult one. Simply because we all want and need different things from our lives, so a ‘one size fits all’ approach does not work. What I can say is that we offer the freedom and support to live the life that you choose, in a peaceful, spacious and relaxed environment. We are comfortably sized, large by most standards and run our home as the word suggests, a ‘home’, your home. We are there when you need us to be and nearby when perhaps you don’t. If you enjoy the company of others, it’s there for you. If you prefer more of your own company, that’s ok too. We offer an extensive activities schedule, driven by the resident’s and their interests. You can have a dabble with exercise, or perhaps turn your hand to dominoes, a quiz, or simply spend some time in our gardens. We offer visiting religious services, hairdressing, chiropody, singers and entertainers. Newspapers are delivered daily, a ‘tuckshop’ visits weekly. Our local GP holds a surgery on a weekly basis and our own team provides 24-hour nursing and residential care, all meals, laundry, cleaning services and maintenance. Whatever is important to you and your family, becomes important to us. We want all of our residents to enjoy life at Cheswardine Hall, we want all of our staff to enjoy their working lives with us. This is what is important to my family and I’m certain it is important to you too.
