A number of teams work together at Cheswardine Hall in providing our service. Each contributing to the lives of our residents and together enabling our residents to enjoy independent and comfortable living.
Our Management Team are the Poole family. Together we offer clinical nursing skills, business and estates management. We are active managers and so you will often see us at Cheswardine. We operate an ‘open door’ policy and love nothing more than catching up with our residents and our team.
Our Nursing team offers 24 hour, 365 days per year nursing care for our residents. As experienced clinicians our nurses handle our resident’s medications, manage our care planning process and liaise with external professionals as required.
Our Healthcare team is the largest of our teams. They support our nursing team in delivering care to our residents and as with our nurses offer 24 hour, 365 days per year service.
Complementing our care provision, our Activities Co-Ordinator works very closely with our residents in creating resident driven and focussed activities. All designed to stimulate, empower and enrich our residents lives, in fun and laughter filled surroundings.
All of the Hall’s food and drink is prepared on-site by our Kitchens Team, some is even grown on site! Our Chefs and Kitchen Assistants work closely with our resident’s and our care teams, to ensure that everybody’s likes and dietary needs are met, 365 days per year.
Our Domestic team manages all of our laundry and cleaning on-site. They help keep the Hall ‘tip-top’ and the resident’s well turned out. All with a smile and you guessed it, 365 days per year.
Last but by no means least, our Estates team. They ensure that our gardens, all 60 acres of them, are well presented and picture perfect. They also manage our renovation and refurbishment to ensure we continue to offer luxurious and comfortable surroundings.
